ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller was involved in a serious car accident in late June. An effort to gather donations for his treatment sparked online criticism that morphed into an investigation regarding fantasy football leagues he managed and other potential financial irregularities.

Miller has previously been charged with a misdemeanor arising from the automobile crash. Heather Sullivan of KMOV reports that Miller pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge on Tuesday.

He is accused of failing to drive in the right half of the roadway. Video captured by the other vehicle in the wreck (a commercial truck) showed the car Miller was driving cross the double-yellow line before impact.

Per Sullivan, the Missouri Attorney General continues to investigate Miller for allegations of fraud.

ESPN placed Miller on leave in July as he recovers from his injuries, which required the amputation of an arm. ESPN will address the issues under investigation by the Missouri Attorney General at the appropriate time.

Miller had emerged as one of ESPN’s leading voices regarding the NFL draft.
