The Atlanta Falcons must be feeling optimistic after their latest win. Atlanta is now 2-2 after getting a huge win over New Orleans on Monday Night Football. Now figures from around the NFL are coming out of the woodwork to praise the Falcons and their high-powered offense.
Former NFL head coach Bruce Arians made his feelings clear about the Falcons, heaping praise on them during a recent interview.
“Yeah that running game the Falcons has is pretty dynamic right now,” Arian said on Tuesday via The Rich Eisen Show. “I've always loved Michael Penix. I said if the Falcons get him back, they're gonna be a really good offensive football team. You know, I think they're scoring 40 points a game since he's been back. And rushing for like 200 yards every game. I think the Falcons are legit right now.”
Arians also made a bold statement about Bijan Robinson. He compared Bijan to the legendary Barry Sanders when asked who the electric running back reminds him of.
“The only guy I could even come close to is Barry Sanders,” Arian added. “I mean, Jahmyr Gibbs, [James Cook] in Buffalo, they're all three so dynamic, but Bijan takes it to a whole ‘nother level with his jump cut ability, pass catch ability. He reminds me a lot of Barry when he's running the football.”
Atlanta finished Week 4 with 205 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Robinson accounted for 145 rushing yards and two touchdowns from that total.

The 24-year-old running back has been as advertised, consistently playing at a high level for the Falcons. He has yet to average fewer than 4.6 yards per carry in a season thanks to his ability to rip off huge chunk plays in the running game.
The Falcons will need to lean on Bijan more than ever if they want to extend their winning streak next week.
Next up for the Falcons is a Week 5 showdown with the Ravens on Sunday Night Football.
