The Cleveland Browns got off to a great start to the season. They were 3-1 heading into Week 5. Then, the injury bug bit and slowed down all of their momentum. In a loss to the New York Jets, some of the team's best playmakers suffered injuries. Notably, KC Concepcion was knocked out of the game after a brutal hit to the head.

The illegal contact resulted in the receiver suffering a concussion, and Concepcion is at risk of missing Week 6. Two other key players who were hurt, too. Quinshon Judkins and Carson Schwesinger may be healthy enough to suit up next week, though. The running back tweaked his ankle and left the locker room in a walking boot. Todd Monken is unsure if Judkins will be able to play in the upcoming game against the Baltimore Ravens. Schwesinger suffered a Grade 1 ankle sprain and is similarly questionable for Week 6.

The Browns were expected to be near the bottom of the standings this year, considering they traded Myles Garrett away and entered the year with a quarterback competition that left a lot to be desired. While Deshaun Watson has turned his perception around, a lot of Cleveland's successes can be atrributed to young players stepping up quicker than expected.
