After trailing 2-0 in their best-of-five MLB playoff series against the Milwaukee Brewers, the San Diego Padres cemented a solid comeback. Following a 4-3 victory in Game 3, the Padres enter Game 4 with an opportunity to push the series back to Milwaukee for a decisive Game 5.
However, before the crucial game, a special scene from Game 3 went viral and became a must-see moment, all thanks to Blink-182's Tom DeLonge. Blink-182's “All the Small Things” has become an unofficial anthem and game tradition for the Padres at Petco Park. Blink-182's DeLonge is a Padres fan, and during Game 3 against the Brewers, DeLonge was spotted for the sing-along.
Witnessing over 40,000 fans sing a song he contributed to and performed repeatedly made DeLonge emotional. The Blink-182 frontman was moved as he saw magic get created at Petco Park.
Fans on social media spotted his passion for the game and the crowd's love for him. “The man wrote the pop punk anthem of a generation and san diego just handed it right back to him. that hit different for everyone watching,” wrote one fan. While another person commented, “Blink 182 nostalgia is impeccable.” “I loved his expression. So sweet. He’s a true fan. Cool moment,” wrote another person.

DeLonge has been vocal about his love for the Padres in various interviews over the years, including an interview with the Padres almost a decade ago in 2016. DeLonge hails from Poway, a San Diego suburb. He is a lifelong Padres fan and was spotted sitting behind home plate for the game. A couple of years ago, he threw the first pitch before Game 1 of the 2024 NL Wild Card Series against the Atlanta Braves.
