“We'll be enjoying playoff baseball… this White Sox team is an easy team to root for; it seems like they're a band of brothers,” Rizzo said to WGN Radio.
The White Sox have been the biggest surprise this year. After 3 years of 100+ losses, the White Sox made it to the playoffs as a Wild Card. It marks their first October appearance since 2021. They then swept the Houston Astros in two games to play the AL Central Division winners.
