The Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams will face off in a matchup between the two current Super Bowl favorites. The Rams enter this game with a 2-2 record, but they boast a league-best +650 odds to win the Super Bowl. The Bills are 3-1, ranking second in Super Bowl odds (+750).

Buffalo features one of the best offenses in the NFL. They rank second in the league in points per play (0.534), after ranking fifth in 2025. They’re averaging a league-high 31.8 points per game through four games.

Josh Palmer’s already been ruled out at wide receiver, while DJ Moore is questionable. It’d be a hit to this offense if Moore can’t play, but it isn’t something that would shift the total. As long as Josh Allen is under center, this will be an elite offense.

Los Angeles has seen mixed results offensively in 2026. They’ve scored 24+ points in three straight games after scoring only 7 in the opener. That was a strange situation, though, as they played in Australia, so I wouldn’t put much stock in it.

Puka Nacua looked healthy last week after missing some time, and he’s a dynamic, game-changing player for Los Angeles. He’ll continue to make this offense better, but it’s the matchup against Buffalo’s defense that I’m more interested in.

The Bills rank 20th in the NFL in points allowed per play (0.393) this season. They’re giving up 26.8 points per game thus far. We’ve seen them give up 29+ points in three of their four games, including against the New England Patriots and Houston Texans.

Buffalo’s currently dealing with some key injuries to their defense as well. Ed Oliver’s already been ruled out, giving a massive boost to the Los Angeles run game. Dee Alford hasn’t practiced yet this week, and he’s questionable.

It looks like Christian Benford will return, but he’s been limited all week as well. Overall, there are some key injury issues on the Buffalo defense that will give an edge to LA’s offense.

Essentially, this is a spot where I don’t believe the Rams will be able to slow down Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense. I also don’t believe this Buffalo defense will be able to hold up, giving an edge to both offenses.
