While the defending champion New York Knicks are 0-3, one of the team's biggest celebrity fans, Ben Stiller, sees them getting their first win soon.

Really soon, in fact. Stiller took to X, formerly Twitter, hours before the Knicks play the Detroit Pistons, and he sees his team winning this one.

“Knicks fans[,] we get a W tonight no question and we roll forward,” he predicted on X.

Fans won't have to wait long to find out whether Stiller is right. The Knicks vs. Pistons is set for an 8:00 pm EST tip-off on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and will air on NBC and Peacock.

The Knicks are the defending champions, giving them a chance in every game. In their three matchups last season, the Pistons swept the Knicks.

Detroit also finished atop the Eastern Conference when the playoffs began with a 60-22 record. However, they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in seven games. This was a major rebound after going 44-38 during the 2024-25 regular season. They were eliminated by the Knicks in the first round of the playoffs that year.

New York will be hungry, and the game will be played at Madison Square Garden. Expect a motivated Knicks team when they play the Pistons.

It has been a rough start to the season for the defending champions. They opened their season against the Philadelphia 76ers, who added LeBron James and Jaylen Brown in the offseason. It was a special night, as the players received their championship rings and the banner was raised.

They then went to Boston to face the Celtics a few days later and lost by four points. Their most disappointing loss of the year was in their third game against the Orlando Magic. They opened the game with a 12-0 lead before losing by nine.
