If you were wondering what NFL legend Eli Manning was going as for Halloween, don't worry — it's not his iconic Chad Powers character.
During the ManningCast on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, Eli Manning's older brother Peyton asked if he was going to dress up as Chad Powers for the “fifth year in a row.”
He's not, though he found a clever workaround, and he's “fired up” for the holiday. Manning gave his older brother a preview of his “whole new costume.”

Manning is going to be a TV this year, which he promised is “very different” than his usual Chad Powers costume. Instead, he is a TV that people can “watch” the Hulu show starring Glen Powell on.
He then plugged that the second season is streaming on Hulu now, but Peyton Manning didn't seem impressed. He called his brother's costume and plug “cheesy.”
Chad Powers has been given a new lease on life, thanks to Powell. The original sketch with Manning came out in September 2022. Powell and Michael Waldron then created a scripted series out of the concept.
Article Continues BelowManning's original sketch showed him going undercover during Penn State's walk-on tryouts. He wore makeup and prosthetics to disguise himself. Naturally, as a former NFL quarterback, he wowed the coaches and other prospects.
In the Chad Powers series, Powell plays a disgraced former college quarterback named Russ Holiday. He decides to use his father's prosthetics to disguise himself as Chad Powers and walk on at a struggling college football program.
The series was a hit upon its release in September 2025. Hulu greenlit a second season, which premiered on Sep. 3, 2026. Unlike the first season, all six episodes of the second season premiered on the same day. As of the time of this writing, Hulu has not greenlit a third season of Chad Powers.
