Another season, another Kawhi Leonard injury. One of basketball's greatest superstars has had a tough time staying on the court in his career.

Leonard's second stint with the Toronto Raptors lasted only three games before the mysterious injury. Now, it will be months before the star player is back.

Leonard released a short statement on his injury, thanking fans for their support.

Raptors' Kawhi Leonard posted the following statement:

"Yeah it's always frustrating missing time.

I came back to compete with this team and I'm focused on getting back to 100.

Toronto, I've appreciated the love since I've been back. Returning soon.
