Coach Steve Sarkisian's Texas Longhorns headed to Norman, Oklahoma to face the Sooners during a time when Arch Manning got No. 1 pick hype from Emmanuel Acho. An epic pass reminded fans of Manning's Heisman ceiling, but it led up to a roller coaster of a fourth quarter that had fans talking.

The Sooner scored a 27-24 comeback win that came amid a curiously thrown Peyton Bowen pick six off a pass from Manning that caused the Longhorns to lose the lead.

“THAT was a meatball sub,” one fan said.

“You still think Arch is the top QB in his draft class,” another said with two laughing and crying emojis.

“Arch Manning is so lucky his last name is Manning…He's terrible.” another said.

“Despite this, he really does have all the tools. Another year in the SEC will provide more necessary growth for him,” another added.

Manning led the Longhorns back to tie the game 24-24 before the Brent Venables' Sooners won it with a late field goal. He completed a picture perfect pass to Jermaine Bishop Jr. that set the stage for the defense to lose it against John Mateer and the Sooners.

Manning was praised by Venables ahead of the game, but his Sooners managed to get the better of the Heisman candidate. Oklahoma intercepted Manning twice including the big one from Bowen, giving fans more reasons to doubt the Longhorns superstar.

Manning's uneven play once again did in Sarkisian's team, a familiar and disappointing story for fans with some of the highest expectations in college football. The loss casts doubt on whether Texas is a national championship contender, and will give fans plenty to talk about heading into Week 7.
