Oklahoma football flipped the 2026 season upside down Saturday by stunning No. 1 Texas 27-24. The Sooners' upset pulls off more than OU taking the latest version of the Red River Rivalry. But forced Texas fans into going absolutely berserk after the game.
Including the critics for Texas quarterback Arch Manning. Such as former Los Angeles Chargers defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko, who's written off Manning as a first round talent.
“Please don’t ever talk to me about no Arch Manning again. If this kid goes first round that’s straight Nepotism and you know it,” Fehoko posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.
Manning tossed this costly interception with under 25 seconds left that eventually led to the final field goal.

Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Robert Griffin III was just as critical of Manning.
“And that’s why Arch Manning needs to come back for another year of College Football. Just needs more experience,” Griffin posted.
Oklahoma's upset even rattled up a renown former Longhorns player in Emmanuel Acho, who went on a tirade after the loss.

Meanwhile, euphoria set in for the victorious Sooners, including quarterback John Mateer planting the OU flag on the Cotton Bowl field.

Finally, Texas reporter for On Texas CJ Vogel dropped a strong take on how massive this Longhorns loss really is.
“May appear to be a knee-jerk reaction, but that was the worst loss Texas has suffered under Sarkisian. An undermanned, undertalented Oklahoma team just won a game they had no business winning because Texas could not get out of their own way for 60 straight minutes,” Vogel posted.
So just like that, CFB has a new No. 1 once Sunday arrives as OU has rearranged that.
