Arsenal vs Kairat prediction
Arsenal have had a near-perfect 2025/26 Champions League campaign. The Gunners have won all seven matches, scoring 20 goals and conceding just two.
Their latest win came in Italy last week, when Mikel Arteta’s team went to the San Siro and beat Serie A leaders Inter 3-1. A brace from Gabriel Jesus followed by a late third by Viktor Gyokeres completed an impressive win.
Sadly for the Gunners, they slipped to their first home defeat of the season in the Premier League on Sunday. The Londoners came unstuck against Manchester United, losing 3-2 to the Red Devils.
The defeat means Arsenal are now three matches without a win in the league. Their lead at the top of the table has been cut to just four points, and Arteta’s team only really retain their advantage thanks to the recent poor form of both Manchester City and Aston Villa.
Despite leading the table both at home and in Europe, there are grumblings of discontent at the Emirates. This was underlined by a few boos heard around the ground at the end of Sunday’s defeat. The fans are clearly concerned that negative tactics might cost them the league title.
However, it should make little difference to Wednesday’s Champions League match, which looks as close to a guaranteed win as you get in top-flight football.
The Gunners are set to ring the changes. Declan Rice and Mikel Merino are suspended. In the case of Rice, the rest is much needed. Elsewhere, expect Arteta to rotate the forward line with Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Martinelli all getting starts.
As for Kairat, they have managed just one point from their seven matches. The Kazakhs have scored just five goals, while conceding 19, the joint-worst in the competition.
Kairat’s solitary point came in their 0-0 draw at home to Paphos on Matchday 3. Heavy defeats in the campaign have come away to Sporting (4-1) and at home to Real Madrid (5-0) and just last week Club Brugge (4-1).
There have been some impressive performances. Rafael Urazbakhtin’s team only narrowly lost 2-1 to Inter on Matchday 4 and 3-2 to Copenhagen on Matchday 5. But over all, they have looked out of their depth.
Arsenal vs Kairat betting tips
At home in the Champions League, Arsenal have already beaten Olympiacos (2-0), Atletico (4-0) and Bayern Munich (3-1). Despite recently dropped Premier League points, the Gunners will almost certainly make it four-from-four in Europe. Find out the best value bets in our Arsenal vs Kairat tips:
Combo bet boosts odds on Arsenal win
Arsenal will be hurting from their latest Premier League slip up. There will be plenty of changes to the Gunners starting XI, with Mikel Arteta taking the opportunity to rest some of his big names for the dead rubber.
Even with a second string playing, there is no value in backing an Arsenal win. They are as close to unbackable as you get in a football bet.
The best way to boost the odds is to back Arsenal to win in a combo bet. We fully expect to see a routine 3-0 or 4-0 win, so we are adding under 4.5 goals to the bet to make the odds worthwhile.

Martinelli to continue impressive goalscoring record in Europe
This looks like the perfect fixture for Viktor Gyokeres to get his name on the scoresheet. However, at odds of just 4/9 to score anytime, the misfiring Arsenal forward is too short to back.
Instead we are looking at Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian is Arsenal’s top scorer in the Champions League with five goals in his six matches.
Martinelli is even money to score anytime and 5/1 to score first. It is tempting to back him to open the scoring, but with a goal in five of his appearances (including three off the bench), the safer play is to back him to score anytime.

Arsenal dominance points to goals and corners
We’ve already stated we can see three or four goals in the match for the Gunners. If the hosts score three or more, they will cover over 2.5 home goals.
With the Gunners also set to dominate the possession, we can also see Mikel Arteta’s team racking up the corner count.
Combining three or more Arsenal goals with nine or more corners in the match pays just over even money with Betfred. In a dead rubber, that looks a sensible play.
