Arsenal head into the clash with confidence at an all-time high after thrashing Tottenham 4-1 in the north London derby on Sunday.

The result moved the Gunners six points clear at the Premier League summit, and they have been just as deadly in Europe this term.

Victories over Athletic Bilbao, Olympiacos, Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague put Mikel Arteta‘s side in an ideal position with half of their games played.

But their biggest test yet comes next, with Bayern also boasting a maximum 12 points, but leading the way based on goals scored.

The visitors emerged victorious in the last encounter between the two sides in 2024, winning 3-2 on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-finals to advance to the last four.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich: What has been said?

Following his side’s win over Freiburg at the weekend, Kane admitted Bayern are expecting a tough test at Arsenal.

The Bavarian side had to show resolve in their last match, as they fought back from 2-0 down to claim the three points, with the England skipper getting on the scoresheet.

Speaking after the match, Kane praised his side’s mentality: “We didn’t do well in the first 20 minutes, but then we showed character.

“The lead after half-time helped us of course. We came out with a lot more energy in the second half.

“We did a really good job both on and off the ball and showed FC Bayern’s true colours. It was a really good victory.

“Arsenal make life difficult for their opponents, but we must analyse them and find out where we can hurt them.”
