Andy Reid sacrificing the one thing he loves more than anything ahead of Travis Kelce’s wedding
Andy Reid is making serious adjustments ahead of a huge event.
However, said event is not in-fact the start of the 2026 NFL season, but instead the wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Page Six reported that Kelce and Swift will tie the knot at Madison Square Garden, the home of the New York Knicks and Rangers.
The wedding is set to take place during the weekend of July 3. Coincidentally, the venue has no events from June 29 through July 6.
A source told the outlet that privacy was of the upmost importance when it came to selecting a venue for the couple’s upcoming nuptials.
The potential plan would involve guests being transported to the venue on blacked-out buses, taking advantage of MSG’s multiple entrances and highly secure infrastructure.
It’s unlikely the event will be as secure as it was for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, but for this big of an event, there could be a heightened security presence in the city.
Andy Reid changing diet ahead of Kelce wedding
As with a majority of the details for their wedding, the guest list is being kept under close wraps.
There has been rumblings about the pair inviting Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Zoe Kravitz and Emma Stone, among other stars, to the wedding ceremony.
However, as for one important man in Kelce’s life, it remains unknown as to whether he will attend, but he is preparing just in case he gets the honor.
In fact, he’s making the ultimate personal sacrifice.
“Well, listen, I’ve cut back on the cheeseburgers a bit now that I’m older, so I can get in the tuxedo,” Reid said on The Stephen A. Smith Show.
“So there’s a chance I’ll be there, for sure. You know, like you, she’s a Pennsylvania girl, so I got to know her before Trav did, and I’m happy for them that they’re in love.

“That to me is the most important thing, and both of them are famous people, and great people, and more power to them, man.”
Reid, the man they call ‘Big Red’, has a well-known love of food.
He once told NBC Sports’ Peter King: “How great is a good cheeseburger? Listen, there is just something about it. It keeps you grounded, Peter.”
Pat McAfee even once send Reid a cheeseburger for National Cheeseburger Day.
Reid’s love for play-calling is only surpassed by his passion for cheeseburgers, and so there was only one option for the NFL icon’s Christmas present back in 2022, when Kelce and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes gifted him, you guessed it, a cheeseburger.
MSG is not a surprise destination for Kelce and Swift wedding
Reid drafted Kelce in 2013 and helped oversee his rise into one of the most accomplished tight ends in NFL history.
As a result, despite some heated sideline exchanges, their relationship has extended well beyond game plans and practice fields.
Swift and Kelce got engaged in August 2025, and are set to officially tie the knot just under a year later.
The pop star has close ties to the Big Apple, moving to adjacent penthouses in Tribeca in 2014, before converting them to one large duplex.
In 2014, her hit ‘Welcome to New York’ was released and was perceived as an ode to the city.

She even served as the city’s Global Welcome Ambassador, with the song being used to promote tourism.
When her soon-to-be husband was a free agent, he was linked with the New York Giants to follow Swift’s wishes of moving to the city full time.
