Adam Schefter hilariously urged to break Aaron Donald comeback bombshell
The Los Angeles Rams are waiting on pins and needles for the possible return of Aaron Donald. Last Sunday, Donald was seen working out at Rams training camp.
But it is still not official.
Meanwhile, those within the NFL world are preparing for what happens next. On ESPN, Scott Van Pelt playfully urged NFL analyst Adam Schefter to break the news, per Awful Announcing.
“Break the news!” Van Pelt exclaimed. “Break the news!”
“It certainly seems like it’s moving along in that direction,” Schefter said. “Aaron Donald keeps working out for the Rams, keeps doing drills to get in shape… It certainly feels like he’s going to be joining Myles Garrett…”

The Rams are expected to be a heavy favorite this year. According to DraftKings, they lead the odds on winning the Super Bowl at +550.
Additionally, they acquired Myles Garrett in a trade with the Cleveland Browns. Plus, Matthew Stafford signed a one-year $55 million contract extension to play in his 18th season amid retirement rumors.
In March 2024, Donald announced his retirement after playing 10 NFL seasons. However, his potential comeback was fueled after Garrett’s acquisition.
In his 10-year career with the Rams, Donald accumulated a hardware of accolades. In 2014, he was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Along the way, he became a ten-time Pro-Bowler, three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and a Super Bowl champion in Super Bowl LVI.
So, like Schefter and everyone else, it is only a matter of time before Donald stays put or suits up.
