Aaron Rodgers will never do this again after reconciling with family

Recently, NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers reunited with his family, making headlines in the process. However, the Pittsburgh Steelers star has his regrets about the matter.

Speaking to USA Today about his reconciliation with his family, Rodgers said he would “never” post about his family reunion again. He wants to keep his personal life “personal and private.”

He conceded that there has “been a narrative” about him, though not all of the information spread has been “truthful.” However, his wife, Brittani, inspired him to reconcile with his family. Still, he doesn’t plan on acknowledging it publicly again.

“But I feel like it was part of the full-circle to just one time post something, and never again,” he reasoned. “So that that narrative can finally be put to rest.”

On July 20, 2026, Rodgers shocked everyone by posting pictures with his estranged family on Instagram. He captioned the post, “Another bonding week.”

He would later tell Kyle Brandt how his wife inspired him to reconcile with his family. The reunion has been a “couple-year process,” and he is now “happy to be reunited.”

“That part of my life is a really beautiful addition, and I gotta give my wife a lot of credit. Not that she was pushing me, because she never was, but just the way that she loves and supports me, having her by my side during this process was really special,” he raved. “I missed those relationships. And there was reasons for (the estrangement) that don’t need to be talked about, but I’m thankful that that’s come all the way back around.”

Rodgers is heading into his final year in the NFL. He will likely end his career after his 22nd season in the league, which will be his second with the Steelers. The Steelers are coming off a 10-7 season in 2025. They lost in the Wild Card Round to the Houston Texans.
