50 Cent, Eminem in attendance at Game 5 of Cavs-Pistons playoffs

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons have 50 Cent and Eminem rooting them on in Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The rappers who have been close friends and collaborators for decades were seen courtside in Detroit as the Pistons take on the Cavaliers.

50 Cent sat beside the Detroit native, yelling, “Detroit baby you don’t want to miss this.”

The series is currently tied at 2-2, so whichever team can pull off the win will advance to the NBA Eastern Conference Finals to play the New York Knicks. The Knicks swept the Philadelphia 76ers, winning 4-0 in their semi-final matchup.

While it’s unclear who the Knicks will be facing yet in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, Brunson is stressing that he plans to stay present.

“We’re focused. We’re staying poised, staying composed,” Brunson told SportsCenter. “Just focusing on the little things. One day at a time, one game at a time. Not looking ahead at all, staying in the moment.”

“One game at a time. One game at a time,” Brunson said. “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.”

As for Karl-Anthony Towns, he gave a shout out per TalkBasket.net to his teammate, Deuce McBride who made seven three-pointers in Game 4.

“The start of the game really was the Deuce McBride show,” Towns said. “He went out there and hit some really big shots that gave us momentum.”

He also shared what his plans are for the team as they enter the Eastern Conference Finals.

“Now we got to reset,” Towns said. “We got to readjust, get our minds back in right, and enjoy this time with our family and get back to business.”

The Knicks will face the Pistons or the Cavs on Sunday, May 17 for the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
