‘You can play normal’ – Darts stars make up after World Championship cheating row
Joe Cullen has squashed his feud with Mensur Suljovic after the pair renewed their rivalry on Tuesday.
Their first round meeting at Players Championship 2 was the first time they had played each other since a tense clash in December.

Cullen had accused Suljovic of ‘cheating’ after his defeat to the Austrian in the second round of the PDC World Darts Championship.
The Rockstar could be seen moaning on stage over the time his opponent was taking between throws and legs.
Suljovic went on to win that match 3-1 as he dumped out the 32nd seed at Alexandra Palace.
Cullen made his feelings known after that defeat having been visibly annoyed on stage.
Writing on X at the time, he said: “If that’s darts, I don’t want no part of it!
“Always liked Mensur away from the board, but that was plain for all to see!
“I don’t think I’m alone in feeling this way. The old guard will say it’s part of the game, but word it how you will – it’s CHEATING! That’s not darts.”
Cullen ends ‘cheating’ row
Cullen was on the wrong end of the scoreline once again in Hildesheim on Tuesday but was in much better spirits.
The pair smiled and shook hands as they embraced on the oche in Germany after their ProTour contest.
It was a moment which was captured on the event’s livestream before being shared on social media.

As he approached Suljovic, Cullen could be heard telling him: “You can play normal can’t you, see? You can play normal.”
The former Masters champion commented on a clip of their interaction on X after the match.
He wrote: “This made me smile… Always liked Mensur and the game was played how it should be played. Mensur was brilliant and deserved the win.”
Suljovic would ultimately lose to Rob Cross in the second round as he bowed out of Players Championship 2.
As for Cullen, he had enjoyed an impressive run on Monday at the opening ProTour event of the year.
The world No.35 picked up wins over Chris Landman, Michael Smith, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Max Hopp to reach the last eight.

His winning streak was eventually halted in the quarter-finals by James Wade, who went on to win the event.
Cullen has won 12 ProTour titles in his career, with the most recent coming in Hildesheim back in September.
