WrestleMania 42 LIVE: Date, UK time, location, full fight card and where to watch WWE showpiece event

WrsetleMania 42 will take place this April as WWE’s showpiece event is held in Sin City.

This year’s two-day spectacular will take place in Las Vegas, and all of the biggest and best names as well as some surprise guests will be in attendance.

Last year’s was a spectacular milestone for sports entertainment as John Cena topped the bill in a winner takes all clash against Cody Rhodes.

He claimed victory and has since retired, but this will still be a huge event.

In the World Heavyweight Championship, we will see CM Punk take on Roman Reigns.

But all of the other contests are yet to be decided.

There is plenty of speculation around The Rock, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar all making an appearance.

WrestleMania 42: Date and how to follow

WrestleMania 42 will take place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.

It will be held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the home to NFL side Las Vegas Raiders.

This was also where last year’s took place.

The action is set to get going at 12am UK time on Sunday and Monday morning.

For everyone outside of the USA, the whole event will be shown on Netflix.

It will be broadcast live on Netflix, and it is part of the historic £4billion ten-year deal.

Fans in the UK who already have a Netflix subscription be able to watch the action live for no extra cost, while others can sign up for £4.99 or more here.

What happened last year?

WrestleMania 41 became the most lucrative pro wrestling event in history.

In ticket revenue alone, it pulled in $66million, and surpassed WrestleMania 40.

Before that, you had to go back to 32 to find an event that was comparable.

And the lineup explained just why it was so popular.

On night one, Seth Rollins, Reigns and CM Punk all faced each other, and Rollins came out on top.

And night two saw Rhodes defend his title against Cena, and on his retirement tour, it was the later who came out on top.

That made him the first man in WWE to be crowned Undisputed champion 17 times.

WrestleMania 42: What has been said?

Ahead of WrestleMania 42, Rollins has admitted that his relationship in real life with CM Punk is broken.

Speaking about it, he said: “There is obviously some sort of working relationship. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to go out there and have matches, but it is so complex.

“Maybe, once we’re both away from the business or retired, there might be an opportunity for a reconciliation there.

“It’s just so hard for me to separate the CM Punk that there is now from the CM Punk that was a really rotten friend to me ten years ago. Those wounds take time to heal.

“Whether or not he cares to make the effort to do that, and I care to care if he makes the effort to do that, I don’t know.

“Neither of us have the time for it at the moment.”
