Kempton

• 17:50 – Ahmadi 11/4 (1pt)
• 19:20 – Dialstone 5/6 (1pt)
• 20:20 – Angel Gabriel 9/2 (1pt)

Yarmouth

• 18:40 – Dubai Charm 9/4 (1pt)

Ahmadi

It’s a promising evening at Kempton Racecourse this evening with plenty of future prospects on show, with there being a focus on two-year-old races in the start of the meeting.

The first comes in the 7f Class 3 Novice Stakes where Chymbulak is favourite ahead of Ahmadi.

The favourite is a 450,000gns yearling by Dark Angel where there seems to be a massive potential, being a brother to the likes of Charyn, Wings Of War and plenty more.

But it’s never that straightforward on debut against so many unknowns.

Ralph Beckett has had nine all weather two-year-old runners this season and won twice, fitting comfortably with his 221 runners and 40 wins in the past five seasons.

He trains Ahmadi who will have Oisin Murphy on board the St Mark’s Basilica two-year-old. And he looks like the one to back here.

Dialstone

Rossa Ryan is in incredible form this season and he is on board Dialstone for the first time.

The Time Test gelding placed second on debut and as a three-year-old has more experience than the Godolphin-owned Fortitudine.

Ralph Beckett trains this gelding and looks promising with the added benefit of experience compared to the other main runner.

Angel Gabriel

Dropped down in the weights after two unsuccessful attempts, since being gelded, on the turf at Newmarket.

Previously won over 6f at Lingfield and went close on heavy ground on debut at Doncaster, all in the winter of 2025.

Not seen to the best effect since returning this summer but should appreciate the evening racing at Kempton back on the all-weather.

Dubai Charm

Cruised into victory over course and distance last time out making him a clear contender over the favourite Dowman.

He looks good on paper but the form lines haven’t really impressed since with the second placed horse to him last time out finished stone cold last at Chester and the other continuing to be rated around the low 60’s.
