Watch Cremonese vs Inter Milan LIVE on talkSPORT: YouTube stream as Jamie Vardy faces Serie A leaders

Football fans keen to watch Cremonese hitman Jamie Vardy against league leaders Inter Milan this weekend can stream the Serie A action live on talkSPORT’s official YouTube channel.

Vardy made the surprise move to Cremonese over the summer following his Leicester release.

The former England international spent 13 years at the Foxes having joined from Fleetwood in 2012, and was vital in Leicester’s return to the Premier League culminating in their 5000/1 title success in 2016.

Vardy was again key as the Midlands side won the FA Cup in 2021 and departed the King Power Stadium as the club’s third highest goalscorer having struck 200 times in 500 appearances.

And while a move to Wrexham was mooted, as was the chance to jet stateside, the experienced striker moved to Italy last summer instead.

Cremonese won the race to secure Vardy’s services, and he has gone on to score five goals and provide one assist across 16 league outings for the Serie A side.

The Gray and Reds, who returned to Serie A last summer having beaten Spezia in the playoffs, head into the weekend’s action six points clear of the dropzone.

Davide Nicola’s side have failed to win in eight ahead of matchday 23 in Italy’s top tier.

And things don’t get any easier for Cremonese on Sunday evening as they gear up to face league leaders and one of the Scudetto favourites, Inter Milan.

Inter pulling away

Cremonese will be hoping that Vardy has a party to derail Inter’s seemingly unstoppable title charge.

Inter currently sit five points clear of second placed AC Milan in Italy’s top tier, and nine ahead of defending champions Napoli as Christian Chivu looks to mark his debut campaign in the Giuseppe Meazza dugout with a first major piece of managerial silverware.

Chivu, who left Parma to succeed Simone Inzaghi as Inter head coach last summer, has overseen a 10-game unbeaten run to open up some daylight between the Nerazzuri and the chasing pack at the summit of Serie A.

In addition, Inter trounced Cremonese in the reverse fixture as goals from Lautaro Martinez, Ange-Yoan Bonny, Federico Dimarco and Nicolo Barella heloped Chivu’s side to a resounding 4-1 home triumph.

Inter’s trip to Cremonese won’t be a walk in the park, however.

Nicola’s side have only lost three home league games this season, falling to powerhouse trio Juventus, Roma and Napoli.
