UFC heavyweight chokes out fighter born without legs in bizarre clash before calling out own brother
UFC heavyweight Valter Walker defied the dreams of brave Zion Clark as he scored a submission victory in their grappling match.
The pair had a staggeringly huge weight gap between them as they agreed to meet in a Karate Combat clash, which quickly went viral.

UFC submission artist Walker was on a four-fight winning streak with the promotion, but was looking to settle a rivalry with Clark, a far smaller but gifted athlete.
Of course for Clark, he was a brave and inspirational combat sports character, having gone through his career despite being born with no legs, as the result of a rare condition, Caudal Regression Syndrome.
There was no love lost between the pair who had got into a physical and violent altercation earlier during the week at the face-offs.
But it was an uphill battle for Clark, who was looking to take an astonishing victory in the open-weight clash.
Walker was on top from the opening claxon, using his size and frame to try and get the job done quickly.
Walker vs Clark – the result and how it happened
It was a quickfire victory for Walker, who had become notorious for his heel-hook finishes, which he had used to win his last four consecutive bouts in the UFC octagon.
At one point during the contest, in a moment that went viral, Walker even elected to try to use his trademark move.
UFC superstar Alex Pereira had spoken to his native compatriot before the clash, offering him $1000 if he was able to win with the manoeuvre.
But of course it wasn’t possible with Clark’s condition, meaning it wasn’t possible during the ground exchanges.
However, it was just a matter of time as the Brazilian took his chance, locking in a rear-naked choke.
It was simply too much for Clark, who was overmatched and struggling in the clash, tapping out and ending the contest with just over a minute and a half gone.
Fans were stunned that the clash even took place, with one writing: “This isn’t right. Credit to Clark for having a go.
Another agreed: Valter Walker vs Zion Clark is actually the most unbelievable matchup I’ve ever seen.”
A viewer also paid tribute to Clark writing: “He’s one brave guy for getting in there with Walker. A real credit to him, but not sure who made this happen.”
What next for Walker and Clark?
As for Clark, the defeated star, he will likely continue his career and insisted he will only fight at his own optimum weight division, flyweight.
Meanwhile for Walker, it is on to bigger things in the UFC, with his reputation growing as a heavyweight.

He will next take on Marcin Tybura at UFC Seattle on March 28, in what is viewed as the biggest test of his stint with Dana White‘s promotion so far.
But he did make a call for another Karate Combat appearance, astonishingly making a plea to his own brother Johnny Walker for a grappling match-up.
The fight could well be made with Karate Combat organisers previously exploring a deal.
It could be a family feud next with the weird and wonderful keeping coming for the powerful giant.
