Arsenal will be looking to maintain their advantage over title challengers Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola‘s side are only five points behind the Gunners with a game in hand.

Mikel Arteta‘s men drew 2-2 to bottom of the table Wolves on Wednesday after they threw away a two-goal lead at Molineux.

A stoppage-time equaliser saw the ball deflect-in off Riccardo Calafori in comical fashion which has given City new hope to snatch the title.

Meanwhile, the Lilywhites find themselves just five points above West Ham and the relegation zone.

Arsenal won the reverse derby 4-1 back in November, which featured a hat-trick from Eberechi Eze.

It extended their recent run in their local derby to just one defeat in ten, a 3-0 loss away from home in May 2022.

Tottenham v Arsenal: What’s been said?

After Wednesday’s draw at Wolves, Arteta agreed The Old Gold deserved a point from the game, as he was disappointed in his squads second half display.

He said: “Very difficult, but we have to take it, because it is a result that probably we deserve in the manner that we played in the second half.

“So, two very different halves, the first one, totally dominated the game, and the second one, nowhere near the standards that are required to win a Premier League game in the manner that we have to, so, it’s us to blame there.”

Regarding the sluggish second half performance, he added: “To be fair, almost everything went wrong, we didn’t have any control.

“Very frustrated, you can sense that now is not the moment to talk, because we are all too sensitive about it, and you’re not going to get anything positive out of that.

“So, the only thing that we have to do is be close to the players, lift them up, because on Sunday we have a big game coming up.”

Meanwhile, ex-Juventus boss Tudor’s first game with Spurs could see them be buoyed by a new manager bounce.

The new Spurs man said: “It is an honour to join this Club at an important moment.

“I understand the responsibility I have been handed and my focus is clear. To bring greater consistency to our performances and compete with conviction in every match.

“There is strong quality in this playing squad, and my job is to organise it, energise it and improve our results quickly.”
