Tottenham star’s agent breaks silence on Barcelona transfer links
The agent of Tottenham centre-back Luka Vuskovic has responded to rumours linking the youngster with a move to Barcelona.
Vuskovic has established himself as one of the most promising young defenders in Europe following his loan move to German side Hamburg last summer.

The 19-year-old, who is on the Spurs books, has caught the eye of a number of Europe’s powerhouse sides following a series of standout displays in the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich were previously linked with a move for the teenage defender, though have since cooled their interest.
Barcelona are now considering an approach for Vuskovic as the Spanish giants aim to bolster their defence.
And Vuskovic’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has broken his silence about his client’s future, albeit giving little away in order not to fuel speculation surrounding the centre-back’s future.
Luk who’s talking
In quotes carried by Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Zahavi said: “I can’t comment on anything at this time. The player still belongs to Hamburg and is completely focused there.
“I can give an update in exactly two months, that is, after his loan ends and he officially returns to Tottenham.”
Parent side Spurs won’t allow the talented defender to leave without a fight, with Vuskovic contracted to the relegation-threatened Premier League side until 2030.
And his father has recently admitted the uncertainty surrounding his son’s future in England.
“I don’t know if Tottenham only see him as a future player or if they would be open to a transfer if they received a suitable offer,” Daniel Vuskovic told Croatian outlet Sportske Novosti.

Vuskovic has previously stated that he’d one day ‘like’ to play in Spain, which could play a significant role should Barcelona make a move for the Spurs man.
“To be honest, it’s not really the Premier League that I desired,” Vuskovic told Tribuna back in January
“I didn’t envisage playing in England. I’ve always only thought about the Croatian league and Hajduk, but among the European leagues, Spain was in a way the closest to my aspirations, and now the German league, which is a very big league.
“One day, I’d like to play in Spain, that’s all.”
Vuskovic reached an agreement to move to Spurs for a reported £12million back in 2023, but was unable to move to England until after his 18th birthday.
The Croatia international went on loan to Polish side Radomiak Radom in 2024, and then to Belgian Jupiler Pro League outfit Westerlo, where he started to make waves across Europe.
Vuskovic’s stock has continued to soar during his time with Hamburg, after he earned rave reviews for his performance in Saturday’s 2-1 win at Wolfsburg.
