Tottenham open to selling Manor Solomon to Championship club

West Ham are interested in snapping up Tottenham winger Manor Solomon, talkSPORT understands.

The 27-year-old is back at Spurs having spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Villarreal and Fiorentina respectively.

But he has featured heavily in pre-season so far – starting in each of the clashes against MK Dons, Auckland FC, Sydney FC and Chelsea.

Only midfielder Archie Gray has played more minutes than the 49-cap Israeli international.

However, despite Roberto De Zerbi keen to give the former Fulham wide man a keen look, his future in north London remains in question.

Hammer time

It is believed that Spurs are open to selling the player – three years after he joined on a free transfer.

And Championship side West Ham are ready to hand him regular first-team football as they look to bolster their squad following relegation into the Championship.

It would be the second piece of business between the two teams this summer after Spurs signed Mateus Fernandes for £85million.

The Hammers are on the hunt for a new winger having sold Crysensio Summerville to Al Hilal in a £68m deal.

Solomon is one of two forwards that could be on their way out of the club before the window slams shut on September 1.

Academy graduate Mikey Moore is in advanced talks to seal another loan move having spent the previous campaign at Rangers.

This time, he could be shipped off to Germany to further his development with FC Koln in pole position to secure his services.

Should the 18-year-old make the move, he would become the third English player to join Koln this summer, after the Bundesliga outfit signed Reigan Heskey and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey on permanent deals from Manchester City.

Sol searching

Solomon arrived at Spurs in 2023 following an impressive season at Fulham, where he scored five goals in 25 games across all competitions.

Though he has been restricted to just six competitive outings for Spurs – all of which came in his debut campaign.

A loan spell at Leeds in the 2024/25 term saw Solomon register ten goals and 13 assists to help fire the Whites to Championship glory.

And should West Ham manage to prise the player away from their rivals, they will be hoping he can replicate his heroics in England’s second-tier.

His agent Ronen Katzav stated last month how the ex-Shakhtar Donetsk star seems likely to depart, with Spurs not the right environment for the player to shine.

He told Sport 5: “He needs to be given a training camp as a Tottenham player right now.

“The fact that he’s starting in friendlies doesn’t mean anything, a coach can start with a second or third, string line-up and then mix things up; it doesn’t mean a thing.

“Next season? I don’t like to speculate. We have over a month left in the transfer window.

“What I will say is that the goal will be a permanent transfer, not a loan. Statistically speaking, the last week of the window is the busiest.

“He wants to be dominant and make an impact, and that probably won’t happen at Tottenham, it doesn’t seem like the right place for him, and they’ve given up on him too easily along the way.

“The real goal is to find a place where he can play regularly. Manor is a very high-quality player, both mentally and professionally.

“I won’t mention any specific team by name, that wouldn’t be appropriate. The goal is to remain in one of the top five leagues, without a doubt.”
