Tom Brady’s daughter screamed ‘Daddy, No’ as NFL icon shares ‘most important throw of his career’
When it comes to the Super Bowl , there is surely no one better placed than Tom Brady to break down the action.
The NFL legend played in a record 10 of them, winning seven.

Brady’s final triumph came with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Super Bowl LV in 2021.
He threw for 201 yards and three touchdowns on the night, as the Bucs beat the Chiefs 31-9 at Raymond James Stadium.
Tom Brady launched Lombardi Trophy during Super Bowl parade
As is tradition, Tampa Bay followed their Super Bowl win with a parade – despite being in the middle of the Covid pandemic.
The celebrations unfolded on February 10, 2021, and saw Buccaneers players and staff live up to their name by taking the Lombardi Trophy for a cruise through town on the Hillsborough River.
Fans lined the banks around them and some even hit the water, arriving on paddle boards and jet skis to celebrate with the team.
It was a day of chaos, and one moment involving Brady – who was named MVP in the game – will never be forgotten.
The quarterback decided it was a good idea to toss the Lombardi Trophy from his $2million boat across open water and into the hands of tight-end Cameron Brate, who was on another vessel.
Footage of the moment quickly went viral, and was seen millions of times on social media.
In one video, Brady’s daughter Vivian can be heard yelling, ‘Daddy, No!’ as he throws the trophy.
Weeks after the parade, the seven-time Super Bowl champion appeared on TV to discuss the drunken chaos that unfolded.

“I don’t remember that quite as well,” Brady joked about his lack of sobriety, during a conversation with James Corden on the Late Late Show.
“First of all, I was not thinking at that moment. There was not a thought. It was, ‘This seems like really fun to do.’
“When you get your hands on one of those trophies, there are a lot of really sharp edges on the bottom where the stand is.

Running backs of all-time – Stacking Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith and more
Tight ends of all-time – How does Travis Kelce compare?
“Obviously, the ball is what it is. And then I found out later that had that been an incomplete pass, that would have went down like 80 feet.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion went on to describe his daughter as the ‘voice of reason’ as the trophy-throwing moment unfolded.
“That’s my little eight-year-old daughter (shouting) ‘Daddy, no!'” Brady continued.

“And who could imagine that an eight-year-old girl would have the most sense of anybody in that whole area at the time?
“She’s the voice of reason. I mean, go figure. It was really cute.”
Brady’s own parade days might be behind him now, but he still fondly remembers that moment.
In February 2026, he reposted the photo of him throwing the Lombardi trophy from boat to boat with the caption: “The most important completion of my career”, followed by three laughing emojis.
Brady is clearly in a good mood, despite his former Patriots team losing Super Bowl LXI to the Seattle Seahawks.
