Terry Bradshaw lashes out at Andy Reid haters and goes off on state of NFL media
Terry Bradshaw has gone off about the coverage of the NFL from the media in 2026.
The 77-year-old has enjoyed an illustrious broadcasting career since his retirement from the NFL in 1984.

But the Fox Sports analyst has had enough of the way the league is covered nowadays.
“In the NFL, as a broadcaster, I get tired of the same old, ‘Baltimore, Buffalo, Denver and the Rams and 49ers,’ Bradshaw said in a Wednesday appearance of Morning Mayhem on 103.7 The Buzz.
“I thought the Seattle story was a really good story.”
Bradshaw was, of course, referring to the Seattle Seahawks‘ Super Bowl LX victory over the New England Patriots.
The seasoned veteran – who has dealt with criticism over his own broadcasting coverage of late – even admitted that he enjoyed seeing two teams who were given only an outside chance at the start of the 2025 season.
“It was good to see defense come back and dominate…and Sam Darnold just never got any respect, he’s Rodney Dangerfield…I was happy for him,” Bradshaw added.
Nobody could have envisaged that Darnold – in his first season under center for Seattle – would lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl ring.
Furthermore, nobody could have expected that the ‘Dark Side’ defense under the play-calling of head coach Mike Macdonald would be so dominant and rank No. 1 in the NFL.
Bradshaw labels Chiefs critics as ‘idiots’
Whilst the four-time Super Bowl champion enjoyed the change of scenery in the ‘Big Game’, Bradshaw simply can’t rule out that all the usual suspects will be back in contention again next season, especially the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I was reading this morning about Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs and ‘has he lost it.’ And I’m like, are you kidding me?

“He went to five Super Bowls in six years and they’re going, ‘Has he lost it?’ Lost what? I’ll tell you what he lost, he lost a lot of players to injuries.
“Critics are just idiots. Idiots, man. They have no idea what they’re talking about.”
Entering the 2025 campaign, the Chiefs were looking to avenge their Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Instead, Big Red’s men were eliminated from the playoffs before Week 17 for the first time in Patrick Mahomes‘ pro football career, finishing with a 6-11 record.
Having made the Super Bowl in five of the previous six seasons – winning three rings – many claimed that their shortfalls in 2025 signalled the end of the NFL’s modern dynasty.
Franchise quarterback Mahomes suffered a torn ACL in KC’s Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, which ultimately proved to seal their playoff fate.

But with the six-time Pro Bowler targeting a return to the Chiefs in Week 1 of the 2026 season, there is still some uncertainty over whether his teammate Travis Kelce will return to the team at all.
The 36-year-old – who is hailed as one of the NFL’s greatest ever tight-ends – is flirting with the possibility of retirement after 13 years.
But Chiefs guard Trey Smith revealed to talkSPORT during Super Bowl week on radio row that he expects Kelce to return back to the team in 2026.
“Travis is the man,” Smith told talkSPORT’s Will Gavin. “I love every moment playing with Travis, you know what I mean?
“Talk about a guy who brings passion, energy. A guy that’s going to be able to rally the troops.
“A guy that, when you watch him battle, it inspires you to go harder, you know what I mean? And he’s a dude I consider a close friend. A guy I care about a lot.
“It’s so much fun playing with Travis. Excited about next year with him as well. He’s just going to keep pushing.”
A final decision is still yet to be made, though.
