talkSPORT BET has paid out on Tottenham to be relegated after fifth consecutive defeat
talkSPORT BET has already PAID OUT on Tottenham to be relegated on all single bets placed before 6 March.
The damaging home defeat against Crystal Palace left Spurs sitting just one point above the Premier League relegation zone with only nine matches of the season remaining.

The 3-1 defeat at home against the Eagles was the club’s fifth consecutive defeat and leaves them without a league victory in 11 matches dating back to their final game of 2025, a winless streak five games longer than the next closest team.
Thousands of Spurs fans were seen leaving the stadium at half-time, when their side were losing 3-1 down and a man down.
The London derby was seen as the real test to determine how likely the club’s relegation threat really was, as they came up against a Crystal Palace side who had won just two of their last 13 matches, but didn’t appear to put up too much of a fight against their south London opposition.
The result sparked outrage among Spurs fans that the once unthinkable relegation may actually be a very real possibility, with the likes of former Tottenham midfielder and avid fan Jamie O’Hara storming out of the talkSPORT studio live on air with co-host Jason Cundy donning an Ange Postecoglou mask and a clown suit.
It has been a season to forget having began with a new manager, with Thomas Frank replacing Postecoglu, who guided the club to Europa League success.
When Frank, who had led the Bees to top 10 Premier League finishes in two his last three seasons with the club, took over in the summer, the side were priced at 50/1 for relegation.
After a strong start to life – Spurs were third in the Premier League in November and were unbeaten at their new stadium at the time – Spurs were priced as high as 250/1 to go down, which a couple of talkSPORT BET punters even got behind.
Since then, Tottenham have played 20 league games and picked up a mere 12 points, with only Burnley collecting fewer in that time span.
Frank was eventually sacked as Tottenham boss after a 2-1 home defeat against Newcastle which left the side hovering just five points above the relegation zone. The price for relegation was bludgeoned down to 6/1.

Former Juventus manager Igor Tudor has since come in and lost all three games in charge, kicking off with a 4-1 loss at home against north London rivals Arsenal, before defeats in the last week against both Fulham and Crystal Palace, their odds for relegation now as short as 13/8.
