Stoke vs Fulham predictions
This could be a bit of a mismatch in terms of Premier League vs Championship sides, as Fulham look the clear contenders against a struggling mid-table team.
Of course, the FA Cup is where these upsets love to occur but it’s hard to see Stoke who’ve been winless in their last six can withstand a strong top-flight side.
Stoke vs Fulham betting tips
Head-to-head
These two sides haven’t met since they were both in the Championship in the 2021/22 season, where Fulham did the double over Stoke and by an aggregate of 6-2.
The previous two meetings came in the 2019/20 campaign in the Championship where the two sides had a win each at home.
Stoke have only met Fulham when they’ve been relegated into the second tier of English football, last meeting in the first in 2013/14 season, with another home advantage.
With Fulham in a commanding position in the Premier League now they look the easy choice to win this.
Stoke sit 14th in the Championship, having gone on a bit of a poor run recently – even losing 1-0 on Wednesday night to Charlton.
Stoke haven’t slipped down further in the table thanks to a fair few draws and their 2-1 loss to now top of the table Boro in January was narrow and not helped as they went down to ten men with nearly 15 minutes to go.
The way Stoke play they could trouble Fulham in the first half, but once the starting XI comes out in the second to seal the deal, Stoke will be overrun.
