Snoop Dogg turns Tailgate Beach Club into Vegas sports party hotspot
Tailgate Beach Club officially opened Saturday at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas with a celebrity-filled launch event headlined by Snoop Dogg.
Fans packed the new sports-driven dayclub throughout the afternoon as celebrities, athletes, and influencers arrived for the grand opening celebration. Among those spotted at the event were Tony Hawk, members of the San Francisco 49ers, social media personality Jena Frumes, and cast members from Love Island and Love Is Blind, per BlastTheRadio.
While Snoop Dogg’s performance helped headline the festivities, Clique Hospitality COO Craig O’Keefe said the venue reflects how dramatically sports culture has changed Las Vegas.
“It’s changed pretty much everything,” O’Keefe said. “The old Vegas calendar was built around conventions, fight weekends, and whoever was headlining a residency. Now? We’re planning around the Raiders schedule, Golden Knights games, F1 weekend, March Madness, Super Bowls coming through on rotation, and pretty soon the A’s playing baseball right here.”

Vegas Sports Culture Continues to Grow
O’Keefe said many venues still fail to recreate the energy fans want during live games.
“A lot of places still treat sports like wallpaper,” he said. “You can’t just throw up more TVs and call it a sports venue.”
Instead, Tailgate Beach Club focused on creating a communal atmosphere built around shared sports moments.
“When your team is playing, you want to be surrounded by people losing their minds at the same moment you are,” O’Keefe added.
