Sean Strickland vs Anthony Hernandez LIVE: UK start time, full fight card and where to watch UFC Fight Night

Sean Strickland returns from his six-month suspension to take on Anthony Hernandez at UFC Fight Night in Houston, Texas this weekend.

Strickland received a ban from MMA after storming the cage and punching one of his opponent’s teammates at Tuff-N-Uff 145.

The incident occurred in June and the American was later banned in July, with his most recent fight coming in February 2025.

His bout with Hernandez is his first since losing to Dricus Du Plessis and breaking his nose in a middleweight title clash.

The winner between Strickland and the in-form Hernandez, who is on an eight-fight win streak, will put themselves in a strong position for a future title shot against current champion Khamzat Chimaev.

Strickland vs Hernandez: Start time and how to follow

This UFC Fight Night will take place on Saturday, February 21.

It will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA.

Preliminary bouts are scheduled to get started at 10pm UK time.

Then, the main card leading up to the main event between Strickland and Hernandez is set to get going at 1am on Sunday morning.

Strickland vs Hernandez: What has been said?

Speaking to ESPN about his upcoming bout with Hernandez, Strickland said: “Fluffy is a hard f****** fight.

“Endless gas tank, he’s beaten some of my buddies. I think Edmen (Shahbazyan) kind of s*** the bed in that fight. Yeah, it’s going to be a great fight. I can’t wait. It’s going to be a miserable fight.

“There’s going to be a level of misery there that’s hard to train for. It’s hard to train for that kind of misery.

“You know it’s going to be fourth round, fifth round. Like, f***. Five more minutes of this f****** parasite.

“That’s how he’s made his career lying on guys, but it’s hard.”
