Ravens sign ex-Jets, Jaguars OL to practice squad

The Baltimore Ravens are adding veteran offensive lineman Chuma Edoga to their practice squad, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The 29-year-old was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday during roster cutdowns.

Edoga brings seven seasons of NFL experience and has appeared in 62 regular-season games, including 25 starts. The 2019 third-round pick out of USC has played both tackle spots and guard, giving Baltimore a versatile option for its offensive line depth.

Edoga spent his first three NFL seasons with the New York Jets before later playing for the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys and Jaguars. Jacksonville signed him to a two-year, $7 million contract during the 2025 offseason.

During the 2025 season, Edoga appeared in 14 games for the Jaguars, starting two and playing 101 snaps.

Jacksonville ultimately moved on from Edoga after the return of Cole Van Lanen and the addition of Daniel Faalele created more competition along the offensive line. Wyatt Milum and Walker Little provided tackle depth, while Little, Faalele, Milum and Jonah Monheim were capable of playing guard.

For the Ravens, Edoga joins a group that included nine offensive linemen on the initial 53-man roster. Gerad Lichtenhan, Nick Dawkins and AJ Arcuri were also among the team’s practice-squad depth options. Baltimore had fewer experienced choices available after Danny Pinter suffered a season-ending knee injury.
