Ravens QB Lamar Jackson drops 67 spots in NFL Top 100
It’s no secret that 2025 was a disaster season for the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson struggled with injuries throughout the year, the defense had a roller coaster ride of a season and the Ravens eventually missed the playoffs after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the last play of the regular season.
Now, the pieces around Jackson should be much improved. The defense will be better under new head coach Jesse Minter and the Ravens addressed their offensive line woes by taking Vega Ioane in the first round of the NFL Draft.
But the ceiling for Baltimore in its first season under Jesse Minter will undoubtedly be decided by Jackson’s health and performance. Coming into 2026, his stock is way down among players in the league. After coming in at No. 2 in the NFL top 100 last season, Jackson is all the way down to No. 69 this season in the poll voted on by players, per Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.
Of course, Jackson struggled in 2025 even beyond his injury issues. His accuracy was spotty at times and he lost some of his explosiveness in the running game, all of which led to a down year for the Ravens’ offense as a whole.
Still, there’s no doubting what the two-time league MVP can do if and when he is healthy. He can still be one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in league history and has led multiple elite offenses during his time as the Ravens’ quarterback.
Jackson will have to get back into his MVP form under a new offensive coordinator this season after Todd Monken became the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Declan Doyle is going to be calling the plays in Baltimore after a very successful 2025 campaign working under Ben Johnson with the Chicago Bears.
If Doyle can bring some of the same run game success to the Ravens that Johnson brought to the Bears, Jackson will have plenty of room to operate and get back to the elite passer that he became known as during the early 2020s.
