Petar Sucic pulled off an impressive highlight during Croatia’s group finale against Ghana in Matchday 3 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.

What’s next for Petar Sucic, Croatia after beating Ghana

Petar Sucic’s goal was crucial for Croatia as they pulled off a 2-1 victory over Ghana to end their time in the group stage.

Croatia initially led for over 40 minutes following Sucic’s goal, but Ghana tied things up with a goal from Derrick Luckassen in the 73rd minute. It didn’t take until 10 minutes later for the Croatians to fire back. Nikola Vlasic delivered the final blow in the match, scoring the game-winner to gift Croatia its automatic place in the knockout stage.

Croatia ended the group stage with six points following two wins and one loss. They finished at second place in Group L above Ghana and Panama while trailing England.

The Croatians will look forward to their journey in the knockout stage. They prepare for their Round of 32 clash against Portugal on July 2 at 7 p.m. ET.
