One-cap England player joins Sheffield Wednesday as transfer ban amended
Nathan Redmond has signed for Sheffield Wednesday on a short-term deal.
The winger had been training with the club as a free agent after leaving Burnley in the summer.

Redmond has now penned a contract through until the end of January with the Owls.
The 31-year-old becomes the second player to join the club after the EFL granted permission for Wednesday to sign out of contract players.
Former Scotland international Liam Cooper signed until the end of the season earlier this month.
Their latest addition comes with plenty of experience in both the Premier League and Championship.
Wednesday sign Redmond
Redmond has made 276 appearances in the top-flight for Southampton, Norwich and Burnley, scoring 28 goals and adding 25 assists.
He is also a two-time promotion winner, having done so via the play-offs with Norwich in 2015.
Meanwhile, the Clarets went up as runners-up behind Leeds last season, with Redmond making two league appearances.
The Birmingham City academy graduate also spent the 2022/23 campaign with Besiktas and has one cap for England.
His sole Three Lions appearance came in a friendly against Germany back in 2017.
Redmond could make his debut for Wednesday as early as this weekend, with Henrik Pedersen’s side hosting Preston on Saturday.

They head into the match bottom of the Championship on -4 points following their 12-point deduction for entering administration.
Redmond’s arrival follows a short spell training with the club this week.
Duncan Watmore had also been spotted in sessions at the Owls’ training ground.
Pedersen confirmed the club were looking at both players but could only afford to sign one at present.
He told BBC Sheffield: “The two names you spoke about (Redmond and Watmore) are training with us right now.
“We are still searching in the market for which players could be potential players for us.

“Right now we can sign one more. Let’s see what happens in the next few days.”
Watmore is available after leaving Millwall at the end of last season.
Meanwhile, Wedensday have also been linked with a move for Dutch right-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
The 27-year-old has been without a club since his departure from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2024.
