‘My manager’ – Tottenham Hotspur told to bring back former boss on interim deal if they sack Thomas Frank
Tottenham Hotspur have been urged to bring Harry Redknapp back to the club if they sack Thomas Frank.
The Dane is under mounting pressure in north London after another disappointing result.

Spurs needed a last minute equaliser from Cristian Romero to rescue a 2-2 draw at relegation-threatened Burnley on Saturday.
Chants of ‘We want Frank out’ and ‘Sacked in the morning’ could be heard from the away end during the clash at Turf Moor.
Former Spurs midfielder Jamie O’Hara has now called on his old club to replace Frank with Redknapp on an interim basis.
The 78-year-old previously spent four years in charge between 2008 and 2012.
Redknapp return
Reacting to the draw on The Weekend Sports Bar, the talkSPORT co-host explained: “I’d rather Harry Redknapp than Ange Postecoglou.
“Harry’s been out of the game for a while, but he still watches football, he’s got an affiliation to the football club, a love there, the fans loved him.
“I would take Harry Redknapp, I would. I’d take him for an interim manager, until the end of the season.
“Give him some backroom staff, players, people that can coach and take the sessions for him and he manages the team.
“He’d been my manager, Harry Redknapp, I know what he’s like. He’ll get his arm around you, he’ll give you some confidence, and he’ll say ‘Go and play, express yourself.’
“I think that’s what the players need. I don’t know if Thomas Frank… he’s just got these players with the handbrake on.

“I think Harry Redknapp would actually take the handbrake off these players and say, ‘Go and enjoy your football.’”
Meanwhile, co-host and ex-Spurs centre-back Jason Cundy added: “You could do a lot worse than H, that’s for sure, but the fact that this conversation is taking place is the worrying part.
“That’s the worrying part. This conversation is genuinely real.”
During his time at Spurs, Redknapp guided the club into the Champions League for the first time.
His side subsequently reached the quarter-finals of the competition during the 2010/11 season.
Across four years in charge, he won 98 of his 198 matches as manager with a win rate of 49.5 per cent.

However, Redknapp has been away from the dugout for over eight years since leaving Birmingham City in September 2017.
As for Spurs, Saturday’s draw leaves them 14th in the Premier League.
Frank’s side are currently eight points adrift of the top four, with the same gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
They have also already been knocked out of the FA Cup following a third round defeat to Aston Villa earlier this month.
Spurs previously backed Frank, but his position as manager is now at serious risk, talkSPORT revealed last week.
Their next outing sees the Premier League outfit travel to Germany to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League on Wednesday.
