Mets announce intriguing roster moves before Cardinals clash

In recent years, Pintaro has started and pitched out of the bullpen. In 2026, though, he has only worked in relief. He could make a significant impact with the Mets as New York looks for pitching help.

Overall, New York is in last place in the NL East as mentioned. The ball club is 15.5 games out of first place. It seems like reaching the postseason will be an immense challenge, but anything is possible.
