‘Life is crazy’ – Conor Gallagher’s girlfriend explains how Tottenham transfer rapidly escalated
Life can change in the blink of an eye as Conor Gallagher’s partner Aine May Kennedy recently found out.
It was just like any other Monday for the Irish model until the phone rang.

And just like that, the pair were packing their bags for London as their Madrid chapter was abruptly coming to a close.
Gallagher secured a £35million switch to Tottenham on Wednesday bringing an end to his 18-month spell with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
The midfielder penned a five-and-a-half year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a bid to bolster the club’s midfield options while boosting his own hopes of being selected in England’s World Cup squad.
A whirlwind 48 hours
After official confirmation of the move, Aine took to Instagram to provide some insight into the fast-changing events of the previous 48 hours.
A succession of photos and captions on her story began with the couple cuddling up on a private jet bound for London which read: ”Here we go again.”
She then provided a short timeline of events. The first picture showed Gallagher and the pair’s pet dog preparing to board the plane alongside the caption: “It was just a normal Monday afternoon until the phone rang.”
Another picture showed the pair smiling together as Aine reflected on her time in the Spanish capital while expressing her excitement over the couple’s new adventure.
She wrote: “Life is crazy. “We are going home, while leaving a city (Madrid) that we will call home forever.
“One minute we are cooking dinner, next minute we are packing suitcases.
“You’re the best CG, this is going to be so good.

“I’m so happy and excited for you to start a new chapter. COYS”
Under-pressure boss Thomas Frank is hoping the ex-Chelsea and Crystal Palace star provides the perfect remedy for a Spurs side that have won just once in their last seven games across all competitions.
Gallagher’s vow to Tottenham fans
After completing his move, Gallagher said: “I’m so happy and excited to be here, taking the next step in my career at an amazing club.
“I wanted to be a Spurs player and thankfully the club felt the same. It was very easy, it happened very quickly and I’m ready to get on the pitch.
“I know how great the fans are, I’m really happy to be a part of it here and want to create special moments and memories together.”
Tottenham finally got their hands on a player they had closely tracked for some time.

The timing of the move couldn’t have been any better with Rodrigo Bentancur sidelined after undergo surgery for a hamstring injury.
Spurs, who first considered signing Gallagher in the 2023/24 season, were forced to act quickly after Aston Villa showed their interest in acquiring the midfielder.
The 25-year-old could be in line to make his Tottenham debut on Saturday when West Ham make the short trip to north London.
