Jenny Shin is a winner once again.

Shin took home the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open over the weekend, the last event for the LPGA Tour until this week’s British Open.

While Jenny Shin has won on the LPGA Tour before it had been a minute. Shin’s last week prior to Sunday was the 2016 Ascendant LPGA benefiting Volunteers of America which was literally a decade and change (2 months) in the rearview mirror.

Shin is almost 34 years old and the third-oldest winner of this event specifically. Ryann O’Toole was a 34-year old winner in 2020, and Stacy Lewis was 35 at the time of her victory.

While this was a victory long in the making for Jenny this week specifically, she did go wire-to-wire which made it a bit of a formality in a technical sense. It was only the second event this season where the winner went wire-to-wire (Nelly Korda at the Chevron Championship).

Congratulations to Jenny.
