Jarrell Miller vs Lenier Pero LIVE: Start time, undercard and how to watch heavyweight fight

Jarrell Miller will make his heavyweight return against undefeated Cuban Lenier Pero this weekend.

‘Big Baby’ will make his latest bow after he went viral during his victory over Kingsley Ibeh in January.

Miller is looking to continue to try and push his name back into the world title mix.

It will be on a show promoted by Eddie Hearn, which comes as a huge surprise given the pair were at odds after his cancelled bout with Anthony Joshua in 2019.

Standing in his way of further progression is unbeaten Cuban Pero is looking to make his own positive step.

Pero has won all of his 13 fights to date, but laboured to a points win over Jordan Thompson last time out.

It is an intriguing bout which will serve as a WBA world title eliminator for Murat Gassiev’s ‘Regular’ title.

Miller vs Pero – what has been said?

Miller: “Pero called me out before which I was shocked by, but come April 25 I’ll be whooping his ass real good.

“It’s not going to be any of that pretty moving around, I’m going back to the old school and I’m going to run him over Big Baby style.

“I’m throwing 70-80 punches a round, he’s going to try to move around and box.”

Pero: “Jarrell Miller is a tough guy – he brings pressure, he throws a lot of punches, that’s what stands out to me.

“The other stuff, that’s just noise. I focus on what he does in the ring. I see his strengths, but I also see openings.

I’ve been ready for opportunities like this, and I’m going to take advantage. What matters is that it’s here now, and I’m ready to take it.”
