Jamie O’Hara almost passes out in wild celebrations as Jude Bellingham achieves 68-year first

Jason Cundy may have celebrated Jude Bellingham’s extra-time winner for England against Norway a little too hard.

Well, that is if you ask his Sports Bar co-host Jamie O’Hara.

Bellingham was England’s saviour amid sweltering conditions in Miami when he pounced on a grave error from Norway goalkeeper Orjan Nyland to fire the Three Lions into a 2-1 lead.

It was one they did not relinquish as Thomas Tuchel’s side punched their ticket to a second World Cup semi-final berth in three tournaments.

England supporters lucky enough to witness Bellingham’s goal inside the Miami Stadium erupted in joy when the ball hit the back of the net, as did millions of fans up and down the country.

Friendly fire

But no celebrations may have been quite as chaotic as the ones witnessed on talkSPORT’s watchalong featuring Cundy, O’Hara and 19-time England international Danny Mills.

The moment Bellingham scored, the trio jumped up and down in delight, only for Cundy to take things up a notch.

Cundy wrapped his left arm around O’Hara’s neck so tightly it prompted the latter to warn: “Get off me, I’m going to faint!”

But Cundy did not heed his co-host’s warning and for a very brief moment, it seemed as if O’Hara’s lights went out.

Thankfully O’Hara didn’t take a tumble, although he may have been aided by Cundy holding onto him before dishing out a few forehead kisses.

Unfortunately for O’Hara, his evening ended on a sour note as he revealed on social media his car was broken into.

Despite sharing a photo of his car window being completely smashed in, O’Hara opted for a positive outlook and wrote: “Sad end to the night car broken into iPad and bag gone, but tbh we’re in the f***** semi final I can replace a window but you can’t replace Jude Bellingham winning it for England.”

Cundy went berserk when Bellingham scored and even managed to put O’Hara to sleep

The trio were among a chorus of voices singing Bellingham’s praises, with few as loud as legendary talkSPORT broadcaster Adrian Durham.

In Durham’s England player ratings, he awarded the talismanic midfielder a perfect score of 10/10.

“He must be shattered after carrying most of his teammates,” Durham said.

Flippin’ Bell

Durham’s remark is grounded in truth, especially when you factor in Bellingham has netted six non-penalty goals for England at this World Cup.

It is an absurd haul, especially for a midfielder, and places him alongside Gary Lineker for the most non-penalty goals scored for the Three Lions at a single major tournament.

Impressively, Bellingham’s double has moved him level with England skipper Harry Kane in the World Cup golden boot race.

Adding to Bellingham’s legend is that he is the second-youngest player to score two or more goals in consecutive World Cup knockout matches and sits only behind Pele.

Pele holds the record having done so at 17 years and 249 days in 1958, with Bellingham equalling the feat aged 23 years and 12 days.
