J. Cole makes Minnesota fans erupt after Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball vouch

J. Cole needed only a few sentences to send Minnesota fans into a frenzy.

During the Minnesota stop of The Fall Off tour, Cole celebrated the Timberwolves’ new partnership between Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball. His prediction for the revamped roster drew a massive response from the crowd.

“Y’all got my favorite n**** Ant-Man in this motherf***er. And to make it even more unfair, y’all got my other favorite n** LaMelo Ball in this mother… oh my god. Y’all gone be a f**ing problem,” Cole said.

His excitement carries added weight because of his connection to Ball. Cole owns a stake in the Charlotte Hornets, the franchise where Ball spent his first six NBA seasons.

J. Cole sees a dangerous Timberwolves pairing

Minnesota’s trade for Ball followed a trip to the Western Conference Semifinals and immediately increased expectations. The Timberwolves can now place a gifted facilitator next to Edwards, whose aggressive scoring and competitive edge have transformed the organization’s direction.
