Is Bad Bunny lip-syncing during Super Bowl halftime show and what language is star singing in?
Bad Bunny will make Super Bowl halftime show history on Sunday.
The NFL showpiece between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots takes centre-stage at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

While the on-pitch action provides plenty of excitement, one of the Super Bowl’s biggest attractions is its entertainment at the interval.
Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, was announced as the headliner for Super Bowl LX in September.
The Puerto Rican superstar will perform the first ever halftime show in a language other than English, with Spanish his mother tongue.
2026 has already been a huge success for the 31-year-old as he won Album of the Year at the Grammys for Debi Tirar Mas Fotos.
Performing at the Super Bowl is one of music’s biggest honours, and Bad Bunny will hope to deliver a memorable show this weekend.
Will Bad Bunny lip-sync at the Super Bowl?
No, the six-time Grammy winner is not expected to lip-sync during his halftime show performance.
Lip-syncing at the Super Bowl is entirely down to the selected artist.
Some opt to do so while others do not, and Bad Bunny is anticipated to go with the latter option.
It’s a decision that will appease his fanbase given the performance on one of the biggest stages will be more authentic.
However, syncing can help deliver a more polished display, especially if there is plenty of dancing and costume changes to accompany it.

What to expect from Bad Bunny’s halftime show
Although halftime usually lasts around 30 minutes at the Super Bowl, Bad Bunny is set to have between 12 and 15 minutes to perform.
This will allow him to play a wide variety of songs, even if they’re not in their entirety.
Cardi B, who is the girlfriend of Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, could make a special appearance with Bad Bunny.
Their 2018 release ‘I Like It’, which also features Colombian singer J Balvin, has over 1.8billion streams on Spotify.
It was nominated for Record of the Year at the 61st Grammy Awards and is one of Bad Bunny’s biggest commercial successes.
Tracks from his Debi Tirar Mas Fotos are also set to feature given its recent accolade.
