The standout fixture of the Premier League weekend is the final one, as Chelsea head across London to face Arsenal.

Their return of six points from six has led many to tip Chelsea to challenge for the title, especially as they have no European distractions this term.

We will learn plenty about Chelsea’s credentials at the Emirates Stadium, the home of champions Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s men also boast a 100 percent record at the beginning of 2026/27, although they have not dazzled the punters like Chelsea have.

Still, Arsenal look better equipped to top the table over the course of a 38-game campaign, and we like their chances of triumphing in this London derby.

The Premier League weekend begins at Portman Road, where Ipswich Town host Liverpool on Friday night.

You could argue that Liverpool were the inferior side on both occasions, although they did at least show spirit to mount comebacks from 1-0 and 2-1 down against both Newcastle and Forest.

Still, the worry is that Liverpool look remarkably open in the middle of the pitch, a shortcoming Ipswich will be looking to exploit.

There have been plenty of positives for Gary O’Neil to take from his team’s first two performances, with two goals scored against each of Sunderland and Manchester United.

Liverpool fans are hoping to see their side tighten things up in the weeks ahead, but Ipswich will back themselves to find the back of the net in front of their own supporters.

Having lost 2-0 to Hull City on the opening weekend, Manchester United supporters feared the worst when their team went 1-0 down to Ipswich Town last time out.
