Ex-Liverpool winger due in court after being arrested at airport
Former Premier League player Jordon Ibe is due to appear in court following his arrest at Luton Airport.
The 30-year-old was taken into custody by police after an alleged assault in December.

Ibe landed at the airport in January and was immediately arrested before being released on bail.
It has now been confirmed that the ex-Liverpool and Bournemouth winger will be in court.
Ibe was charged with actual bodily harm in relation to an alleged assault on December 14, according to the Metropolitan Police.
The 30-year-old, of Chislehurst, south-east London, was arrested at the airport on January 30 and taken into custody.
He has been released on bail and will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on March 6.
Ibe had flown back to the UK to appear in court for a separate incident.
He admitted to using fake prescriptions to get a hold of an insomnia drug called Zolpidem.
He appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court and was fined £230.

Ibe’s career
Ibe’s career started so well with him making waves with Wycombe before Liverpool snapped him up as a 16-year-old for an undisclosed fee.
He went on to make 58 appearances for the Reds, including 41 in the Premier League.
Then came a £15million transfer to Bournemouth to work under Eddie Howe in 2016.
Ibe signed a four-year contract with an option for the Reds to buy him back and a sell-on clause.
However, he never kicked on and displayed a lack of consistency that saw Howe drop him early on during his first season on the south coast.
In the end, the buyback and sell-on clause were never utilised as he departed the club at the expiration of his contract, having played 92 times.

Since then, he’s played for seven different clubs.
They include Championship side Derby County, four English non-league teams, a Turkish team and his current club.
They are based in Bulgaria and are known as Lokomotiv Sofia.
