Soutar will be running the London Marathon on Sunday, April 26 in aid of Guide Dogs Scotland.

The 48-year-old has been promoting the charity on social media as well as sharing updates on his training regime.

Soots has also been holding giveaways to raise further funds for the organisation, including one for a signed Jonny Clayton shirt.

However, his latest training run came with a painful side effect for the world No.53.

Gruesome training injury

Soutar shared a photo to Instagram showing his nipples had bled through his jacket.

He was able to see the funny side in the caption, though, writing: “Medic!

“I knew I shouldn’t have worn nipple clamps on a 17 miler just to add a wee bit of spice to the training.

“Please donate so Guide Dogs can get me some Prosthetic Nips made up.”

Soutar is a former winner on the PDC ProTour after winning an event in Hildesheim in 2024.

Meanwhile, he also balances his darts career with his work as a fire fighter.

The former Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finalist even returned to his day job last year ahead of the PDC World Darts Championship.

Soutar would go on to lose to eventual runner-up Gian van Veen at Alexandra Palace in December.

He is once again enjoying time away from the oche ahead of the ProTour’s return later this month.

The Players Championships resume in Leicester on Monday, March 30.

It represents Soutar’s next event after he did not qualify for this weekend’s Belgian Darts Open.

Luke Littler is set to defend his title at the tournament in Wieze for a second year running.

As for Soutar, he is yet to appear at a European Tour event so far in 2026.

His first opportunity could come at the European Darts Grand Prix in April, with Tour Card holder qualifying for the tournament yet to take place.
