Dallas Goedert start or sit: Week 13 fantasy football advice

Nov 28, 2025 - 14:00

Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on with a Black Friday showdown in the NFC featuring the Chicago Bears visiting the Philadelphia Eagles at 3 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

The Eagles jumped out to a 21-0 lead against the Cowboys last Sunday before completely faltering in the second half, falling 24-21 by way of a last-second field goal. Tight end Dallas Goedert didn’t play much of a factor in that divisional showdown and we’ll see if he can make an impact in today’s matchup.

Below, we’ll go over Goedert’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 13.

Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles TE Dallas Goedert

Goedert caught just two targets for 20 yards in last Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys, the second straight week where he was held to under 25 yards. It also marked his third straight game without a touchdown and his fantasy value has been directly tied to his effectiveness as a red zone target with six of his position-leading seven scores coming inside of the 20.

The Bears have been a middle-of-the-road defense against opposing tight ends this season, yielding 644 yards and five TD’s to the tune of 8.6 fantasy points per game. It’s a coin flip whether or not Goedert will have himself a productive outing, but it should help that the team is at home for this matchup.

Start or sit in Week 13?

Start. Goedert has still been a top-10 fantasy tight end in all scoring formats despite his lack of explosive numbers in recent weeks and while that may be a bit frustrating, I think you have to keep riding it out. The Eagles have had the most maddeningly inconsistent offense in the league this season but when it’s really rolling, it’s lethal and Goedert has been part of that.
