Colston Loveland start or sit: Week 13 fantasy football advice

Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on with a Black Friday showdown in the NFC featuring the Chicago Bears visiting the Philadelphia Eagles at 3 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

The Bears held off the Steelers for a 31-28 this past Sunday, notching their fourth straight win while maintaining their lead in the NFC North standings. Tight end Colston Loveland has heated up throughout the month of November and he came through for the team once again in that win.

Below, we’ll go over Loveland’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 13.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bears TE Colston Loveland

Loveland stepped up for the Bears in Sunday’s win over the Steelers, catching four of five targets for 49 yards and a second-quarter touchdown that tied the game at the end of the first half. That’s now six straight games with at least four receptions for the rookie first-rounder and he has easily supplanted Cole Kmet as the top pass-catching tight end in Chicago.

Loveland is also top-five among tight ends in ADOT, so Caleb Williams is regularly hunting for him downfield for big gains. We’ll see if he can make some big plays against the defending Super Bowl champions this afternoon.

Start or sit in Week 13?

Sit. Unfortunately for Loveland and fantasy managers alike, he’s going up against a Philly defense that has put the absolute clamps on tight ends this season. The Eagles are ranked No. 1 in DVOA vs. tight ends heading into today’s matchup and have limited them to just 4.3 fantasy points per game. I like the trajectory that Loveland been late in the year, but this is one where you should probably leave him on the bench.
