Celtics star Jaylen Brown’s teammate in disbelief over All-NBA Team result

The results for the All-NBA selections for the 2025-26 season came out on Sunday night prior to Game 4 of the 2026 Western Conference Finals. Those who were selected for the first team were definitely deserving of the honors, but not everyone is in unanimous agreement, especially when there are only five spots for the best of the best this past season had to offer. Just ask Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown and his teammates, one of whom was very expressive on social media regarding his disapproval of Brown’s snub.

Brown flourished as the first option for a Celtics team that was missing Jayson Tatum most of the year, stepping up both on and off the court as the team’s leader. However, Brown could not crack the top five consisting of MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, Luka Doncic, and Cade Cunningham.

This prompted Ron Harper Jr., one of the Celtics’ unsung contributors this year, to express his disbelief over Brown’s first-team All-NBA snub.

To the Celtics contingent, this is certainly an egregious snub. Boston, expected to fall off after a major roster overhaul last summer amid Tatum’s injury and luxury tax problems, managed to win 56 games in the regular season, with Brown being a major force.

He averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per ballgame, and the Celtics took after his fearlessness and consistency night after night. Nonetheless, it will be difficult to argue which player Brown should have made it over on the first team, as the five who got the nod were certainly the best of the best this season.

Finishing in the second team is nothing to scoff at anyhow; he joined the likes of Jalen Brunson, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Donovan Mitchell in that quintet.
