Bruins’ David Pastrnak wins Game 5 vs Sabres with filthy OT goal
The Boston Bruins have survived Game 5, as David Pastrnak scored in overtime to beat the Buffalo Sabres. After two brutal losses at home, Boston went back to Buffalo needing a win. Jeremy Swayman was excellent in overtime, stoning a great Alex Tuch chance right before the goal. Then, Pastrnak kept the Bruins alive with this filthy goal to beat Alex Lyon.

Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm earned the game-winning assist, throwing a lengthy stretch pass to Pastrnak to create the breakout. Pastrnak picked up the puck at the blue line and charged right for the net. When he got there, he made no mistake, beating Lyon after a series of dekes.
